Ciao! I'm Arianna (or Ari)

Arianna, your teacher
"I genuinely love teaching - and helping students discover that learning a language can be enjoyable, rewarding and accessible to everyone."
  • 🎓 BA honours degree in French, Spanish & German (first class), University of Southampton
  • 🎓 PGCE, University of Oxford
  • 🎓 CELTA certified - a certification for teaching English as a foreign language
  • ITGBNative Italian & English speaker, raised near Rome
  • 📚 6 years' teaching experience, in schools and online

I grew up in Italy, near Rome, in a bilingual family with one British parent and one Italian parent, before moving to the UK. Growing up surrounded by different languages and cultures sparked my love for languages from an early age - and that passion has stayed with me ever since.

I currently teach French and Spanish in a secondary school, and Italian is particularly special to me - it's my native language and a huge part of my identity. I'm excited to share not only the language but also the culture, expressions and everyday Italian you might not find in a textbook.

I created CiaoAri because I truly love languages and, most importantly, I love teaching them. I can't wait to learn with you!

A presto!
